Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Pure Matrimony® does not offer refunds except in cases where an error has occurred on our part (for example, duplicate billing). Please read the full terms for our Refund policy below. Agreeing to our terms & conditions and Privacy Policy when you create an account with Pure Matrimony® means you agree to our Refund policy.
1. Refund Policy Overview - At Pure Matrimony®, we are committed to fairness and transparency in how payments and subscriptions are handled. Please take a few moments to review our Refunds & Cancellation Policy so you understand how it applies to your membership.
1.1 Acceptance of Policy
1.1.1 By creating an account, you explicitly agree to abide by our Refund policy.
1.2 No Refunds Except for Errors by Pure Matrimony®
1.2.1 Pure Matrimony® will not refund any payment made by members in all cases, except where an error has occurred on our part (e.g., duplicate charges).
1.3 Apple App Store / Google Play Purchases
1.3.1 If you subscribed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refunds are managed directly by these providers in accordance with their policies.
1.3.2 Please refer to their respective refund procedures for assistance.
1.4 No Refunds for Switching Promotions
1.4.1 Refunds are not permitted if a member has paid in full and later wishes to switch to a discounted or promotional offer.
1.4.2 Members attempting to cancel and re-subscribe under a discounted offer may risk account suspension, as the system automatically records such actions.
1.5 Automatic Renewals
1.5.1 Monthly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the initial term.
1.5.2 This is displayed clearly at the time of purchase.
1.5.3 Failure to cancel before the renewal date does not qualify for a refund.
1.6 Change of Mind or Inactivity
1.6.1 Members who decide they no longer wish to use Pure Matrimony®, whether or not they have used their subscription, are not eligible for refunds, whether full or partial.
1.7 Add-Ons
1.7.1 All add-ons purchased are non-refundable, regardless of whether they are used or not.
1.7.2 Members are advised to review add-on features carefully before purchase.
1.8 Cancellation Responsibility
1.8.1 If you do not wish to be charged after your initial purchase, you must cancel before your next billing date.
1.8.2 Payments processed due to member inaction are not refundable.
1.9 Refund Processing
1.9.1 In cases where refunds are applicable (Pure Matrimony® error), payments will be refunded within 30 to 45 days of the refund request.
1.9.2 Refunds are processed based on the payment gateway policy through which the initial payment was made.
1.10 General Policy
1.10.1 Pure Matrimony® subscriptions are non-refundable, except when a billing error occurs on our part (e.g., duplicate charges).
1.10.2 Purchases made via Apple or Google follow their own policies, and any refund requests must be made directly through them.

2. Actions Resulting in Immediate and Permanent Account Suspension (Without Refund)

Pure Matrimony® maintains a zero-tolerance policy for actions that compromise safety, Islamic values, or platform integrity. The following categories outline behaviours that may lead to an immediate and permanent suspension without refund.
2.1 Eligibility and Age Requirements
  • Members must be 18 years or older to use the platform.
  • Accounts belonging to users under 18 will be immediately suspended, and associated IP addresses may be blocked.
2.2 Misuse of Wali Feature
  • Wali representatives must uphold the same behavioural standards as all members.
  • Misuse or abuse of this role may result in removal of access or a permanent ban.
2.3 Misconduct and Policy Violations
The following forms of misconduct are strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate suspension or permanent account closure:
  • Un-Islamic or Offensive Conduct – Posting, sharing, or sending vulgar, pornographic, racist, or un-Islamic content.
  • Harassment and Abuse – Any form of harassment, including sexual, verbal, or emotional abuse; racism; bigotry; violence; or invasion of privacy.
  • Spam and Unsolicited Messaging – Sending spam, chain messages, or unauthorised promotions of businesses or services.
  • Collection of Personal Data – Attempting to gather personal details (emails, phone numbers, financial information) from other members.
  • Uploading Harmful Content – Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful software.
  • Disrespect or Abuse of Staff – Abusive or disrespectful conduct towards Pure Matrimony® staff or representatives Such misconduct is not tolerated and may also be reported to legal authorities where appropriate.
2.4 Platform Integrity and Authentic Use
Members are expected to use Pure Matrimony® sincerely and honestly. The following actions violate our integrity standards:
  • Purpose of Membership – Accounts may only be created for the genuine purpose of seeking Islamic marriage (Nikah).
    • Parents or Walis registering on behalf of children must have explicit permission.
    • Accounts may not be transferred, shared, or sold.
  • Profile Authenticity – All information (age, name, photos, location, marital status, etc.) must be accurate.
    • Fake, misleading, or duplicate profiles will be terminated.
    • Use of celebrity, model, or unauthorised images is prohibited.
  • Multiple Accounts – Each member may only hold one active account.
    • Additional or duplicate accounts will be permanently removed.
  • Suspicious Activity – Profiles flagged during verification for suspicious or fraudulent activity will be permanently rejected without refund.
  • Financial Transactions – Members must never request, send, or receive money or financial assistance.
    • Attempts to solicit funds may lead to legal reporting.
  • Polite Communication – All interactions should remain respectful and modest.
    • Use of vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate language will result in suspension.
  • Confidentiality – Sharing another member’s personal details without consent is strictly prohibited.
2.5 Refund and Ban Policy
  • Refunds are not issued for suspensions or terminations resulting from rule violations or misconduct.
  • Refunds are only provided where Pure Matrimony® has made a direct billing error (e.g., duplicate charges).
  • Refunds for Apple App Store and Google Play purchases follow their respective platform policies.
