Pure Matrimony Terms and Conditions for Membership

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering. By accessing, installing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

This document constitutes a legal agreement between you and Pure Matrimony™. By using our websites (www.purematrimony.com, www.muslimmarriageguide.com, www.muslimpersonalitymatch.com) and associated mobile apps (together referred to as "Services"), you agree to the following terms. If you disagree with these terms, you are not authorized to use or access the Services.

 1. Membership and Subscription

 1.1. iOS Users: A £19 per month charge will apply to your iTunes account upon confirmation of your subscription.
1.2. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled 24 hours before the end of the current period. For cancellations, go to your iTunes account settings.
1.3. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited once a subscription is purchased.

2. Eligibility 

2.1. You affirm that you are over 18 years of age and are truthful in your registration.
2.2. Users under 18 will be banned immediately, and your IP address will be blocked without refund.
2.3. You swear by Allah that you are a practicing Muslim seeking to marry another practising Muslim.
2.4. If you are a parent or wali registering on behalf of a child, you must have their permission.

3. Account Restrictions 

3.1. You may not create multiple accounts. If found, all accounts will be permanently banned without a refund.
3.2. Pure Matrimony is intended for personal use only. Commercial use is prohibited unless authorized by Pure Matrimony in writing.
3.3. Any business or commercial entity unauthorized to use the Services will be pursued legally.

4. Prohibited Actions

4.1. You commit to keeping all member-provided information confidential and not sharing it without permission.
4.2. You may not request or send money to any member or engage in any financial transfer. Violations will be reported to legal authorities.
4.3. You may not upload or distribute harmful software, un-Islamic material, harassment, or any content promoting illegal activities.
4.4. You will not send unsolicited messages or engage in spamming.
4.5. You must ensure that all information in your profile is accurate and truthful. Fake or misleading information will lead to a permanent ban.

5. Photos and Profiles 

5.1. All photographs uploaded must be recent, truthful, and authentic. If others are included, explicit consent from them must be obtained.
5.2. You agree to indemnify Pure Matrimony for any claims arising from uploading unauthorized photos.

6. Monitoring and Conversations 

6.1. All conversations on Pure Matrimony may be monitored for safety purposes.
6.2. You may share contact details only after compatibility has been established with another member.
6.3. Once you take conversations outside of Pure Matrimony, we are no longer responsible for any issues or disputes that may arise.

7. Fraud and Scam Warning 

7.1. Pure Matrimony warns members not to send money to anyone met through our services. Scammers may pose as someone they are not, requesting money for various reasons. This is a violation of site policy and can lead to legal actions.
7.2. If you encounter any member asking for money, report them immediately using the “Report Member” feature.

8. Liability Disclaimer 

8.1. Pure Matrimony is not responsible for any harm, financial loss, or damage caused by interactions with members.
8.2. We do not verify the truthfulness, accuracy, or intentions of any member. Interactions are at your own risk.
8.3. Pure Matrimony assumes no liability for any conversations, contacts, or actions made through the site, either online or offline.

9. Indemnity 

9.1. You agree to indemnify Pure Matrimony against any losses or damages arising from your activities on the platform, including legal fees incurred from any breaches of this agreement.

10. Termination of Access 

10.1. Pure Matrimony reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account at its sole discretion, including for fraudulent, suspicious, or immoral behavior.
10.2. If necessary, you may be asked to provide proof of identity, which will be held for verification purposes.

11. Service Interruptions 

11.1. Due to technical issues, scheduled updates, or factors beyond our control, services may experience interruptions. Pure Matrimony is not liable for any such interruptions.

12. Content Policy 

12.1. You may not include personal contact details in your profile (email, phone number, etc.), nor may you send such details through conversations unless compatibility is established.
12.2. Profiles that include such information will be deleted immediately.
12.3. All personal information provided must be factual and accurate. Misleading profiles will result in a permanent ban without refund.

13. Legal Action for Inappropriate Use 

13.1. Pure Matrimony will pursue legal action against any inappropriate use, including but not limited to:
13.1.1. Posting vulgar or un-Islamic content.
13.1.2. Promoting illegal or immoral activities.
13.1.3. Harassment or abusive behavior.
13.1.4. Unsolicited commercial activity or spamming.
 

14. Termination of Membership 

14.1. Pure Matrimony may terminate your membership and delete your profile if it finds any fraudulent or suspicious activity.
14.2. The decision to suspend or terminate accounts is at Pure Matrimony’s discretion.

15. Content Deletion 

15.1. Pure Matrimony reserves the right and diligently exercises that right to delete any content violating Content Policy parameters outlined above.
15.2. Pure Matrimony will delete any content, including pictures, messages, or profiles, deemed in its sole discretion to be illegal, immoral, offensive, or in violation of the letter and spirit of this agreement and the purpose of the website or any of its affiliates.

16. Pure Matrimony's Right to Use Member-Provided Information 

16.1. You grant Pure Matrimony the right, in its sole discretion, to edit, modify, or delete any of the information that you have submitted in your profile if it fails to meet the aforementioned criteria. This includes text, photographs, pictures, and any other information submitted with your profile at the time of activation or at any subsequent time.

17. Monitoring Policies and Practices 

17.1. Pure Matrimony is committed to making the use of our site a safe and pleasant experience for our members. In order to do this, Pure Matrimony manually checks and approves profiles, as well as moderates messages between members. This is to protect our members and is also in accordance with the Islamic principles we stand by.
17.2. Any member found trying to evade the services' conversation area or attempting to post personal details to take conversations off the services will be banned without refund.
17.3. Any member requesting to take conversations off the Pure Matrimony website when compatibility has not been established can be subject to a permanent ban without refund.

18. Purchased Memberships Terms and Conditions 

18.1. It is YOUR responsibility to CANCEL your membership when you are no longer interested in being a member of Pure Matrimony. Pure Matrimony will NOT refund any members who have failed to do so.

19. Refund Policy 

19.1. Pure Matrimony will NOT refund ANY payment to ANY member for ANY reason whatsoever EXCEPT in the case of error on Pure Matrimony’s part.
19.2. If refunds are issued due to an error on Pure Matrimony's part, it will be processed and completed within 14 days of the initial refund request.
19.3. Please note: Pure Matrimony does not handle refunds for Google Pay and Apple Pay payments. Refunds for payments made through these services need to be requested from the respective play store accounts.
19.4. Pure Matrimony will not refund any member who has decided that they no longer wish to use Pure Matrimony. A refund can NOT be given in part or whole for any subscription used or not used by any member for whatever reason. Users who wish to cancel their subscription are not permitted to seek a partial or full refund for any reason.

20. Membership Types 

20.1. One Month: After your initial subscription term expires, your subscription will automatically renew until cancelled for each monthly period.
20.2. 3/6/12 Month Subscription: After your initial subscription term expires, your subscription can be extended at any time by upgrading (Payments will be Auto-renewed for Google Pay & Apple Pay users).
20.3. Introductory offers, discounts, and vouchers redeemed on Android or iOS apps can only be availed once in a lifetime and are limited-time offers only. Please note that any subscription purchased on the app is recurring in nature, so ensure to read the terms and conditions thoroughly.

21. Membership Fee and Pricing

21.1. Subscription fees for different membership types are listed at the time of signing up. The pricing may vary based on the length of the subscription or other promotional offers available at the time

22. Proprietary Information

22.1. Pure Matrimony asserts full copyright protection in all content published on the website by our partners, our members, and other users.
22.2. You explicitly agree that you will not copy, modify, or distribute any such information without the express written consent of the original owner of the content.

 23. Premium Matchmaking Service Terms and Conditions

23.1. Introduction
23.1.1. Pure Matrimony (PM) has partnered with A Muslim Matchmaker (AMM) to offer Premium Matchmaking Service, which is privately operated by the AMM team.
23.1.2. Pure Matrimony provides secure access for AMM to conduct compatibility checks. By registering on Pure Matrimony, users consent to being contacted by AMM personnel for their matchmaking process. Users will be contacted through WhatsApp and email by AMM to facilitate the service. Please review these terms carefully.

23.2. Eligibility
23.2.1. You must be a practising Muslim who follows Islamic principles.
23.2.2. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.
23.2.3. You must provide truthful information during registration and throughout the matchmaking process.
23.2.4. You must not have a criminal record, particularly involving fraud, abuse, or behavior incompatible with PM and AMM values.

23.3. Service Overview
23.3.1. Premium Matchmaking Service offers personalized matchmaking, consultations, profile matching, and introductions.
23.3.2. The service is managed by AMM, with PM facilitating access for compatibility checks.
23.3.3. Matches are based on compatibility, preferences, and values discussed in consultations.

23.4. User Responsibilities
23.4.1. You agree to engage with sincerity and good faith in the matchmaking process.
23.4.2. You are responsible for updating AMM with any changes in your preferences or personal circumstances.
23.4.3. You will maintain respectful communication with matchmakers and potential matches.
23.4.4. You agree to follow Islamic principles throughout your interactions.

23.5. Fees and Payment
23.5.1. Premium Matchmaking Service is a paid service, with fees determined after the initial consultation with AMM.
23.5.2. Payment must be made in full, unless an installment plan is agreed upon.
23.5.3. Fees are non-refundable unless the service cannot be provided by AMM or PM due to unforeseen circumstances.

23.6. Confidentiality
23.6.1. All information shared will remain confidential and used solely for matchmaking purposes.
23.6.2. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
23.6.3. You agree to keep all information about potential matches confidential.

23.7. Limitations of Service
23.7.1. PM and AMM do not guarantee the success of matchmaking or any introductions.
23.7.2. PM and AMM are not responsible for any misinformation provided by users.
23.7.3. PM and AMM may decline or terminate service for any individual whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or non-compliant.

23.8. Disclaimers
23.8.1. PM and AMM are not responsible for the actions of individuals introduced through the service.
23.8.2. Users are advised to involve a wali (guardian) or trusted advisor during the process.
23.8.3. PM and AMM are not liable for any loss, emotional, financial, or personal, arising from the service.

23.9. Termination
23.9.1. You may terminate your engagement with the Premium Matchmaking Service at any time by notifying PM and AMM in writing.
23.9.2. PM and AMM reserve the right to terminate the service for violations of these terms or for behavior contrary to Islamic principles.

23.10. Governing Law
23.10.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
23.10.2. Any disputes will be resolved based on Islamic principles through mutual consultation.

23.11. Amendments
23.11.1. PM and AMM reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to users.

23.12. Acceptance
23.12.1. By engaging with the Premium Matchmaking Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

 24. Additional Terms and Conditions

24.1. Terms of Use Modifications
24.1.1. Pure Matrimony may periodically modify this agreement. It is your sole responsibility to review this agreement at least on a monthly basis to determine if any of the modifications are unacceptable to you.
24.1.2. If any subsequent modifications are deemed unacceptable, you must immediately discontinue use of the site.
24.1.3. Your login subsequent to reviewing any modifications constitutes a binding acceptance by you of any and all modifications to the Agreement.

24.2. Risk and Liability
24.2.1. Our services are used at your own risk. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to your hardware and/or software resulting from your access and/or use of the website.
24.2.2. Your statutory rights are not affected at all by these terms and conditions.

24.3. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
24.3.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any dispute will be dealt with in the English courts.

24.4. Third-Party Rights
24.4.1. Each party confirms that, save as expressly set out in this agreement, no term of this agreement is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any third party who but for that Act would not have been entitled to enforce such terms.
